Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry was rushed to the hospital on July 17 after taking a hard fall on the set of her new movie, “The Hive.”
According to TMZ, sources say that Berry fell while shooting a fight sequence for the film. After she fell, sources say that Berry started throwing up. However, Berry’s publicist says that she’s fine now.
"Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, `The Hive’," Meredith O’Sullivan, Berry’s rep said in a reported statement. "She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned."
The 45-year-old Berry is starring in the film, planned for a summer 2013 release, alongside Abigail Breslin, who starred in “Signs” and “Little Miss Sunshine”; and David Otunga, Jennifer Hudson’s fiancé and WWE superstar.
It is the second injury Berry suffered in the past year. Last September, the actress broke her foot in Spain on a day off during the filming of “Cloud Atlas," according to E! News. Complications from that injury prevented her from attending this year’s Academy Awards in February.
